Hi,Thanks for the comment. So there is no way to get any custom fields delivered directly in the message. This is exactly how I thought it is. This is the way we are planning to solve the problem.Customer will add in our Webshop that free text in Webshop text field Webshop logic will place text in Customer Order line note for incoming order message. Separated from other Notes with special characters such as ¤ When new CO line is created from Webshop using Incoming Order message an event will trigger an event action that looks for those tags in CO line notes. If text is found that action will create Document text for the CO line with predefined document text type that will print on desired documents using standard IFS logic.
Hi,Unfortunately I do not understand how you think this process would go? Hoe would we get that text to that Custom Field? In our process external Customer enters the text in their order. Then they send it to us via incoming orders and CO is created automatically by the process. No one touches it manually. So how can we get the text in CO line Custom Field if we are not adding custom fields in incoming order message?Br, Jarkko
Hi Asanka,We are using that label note for other purposes already and as you say it is in header level. We are using report designer and custom fields on layouts. But how can you receive content custom fields in incoming order message? I cannot find anything about that in the documentation. Br, Jarkko
I think it would be enough just to connect one of the comm.methods to address Contact. That would then be the default. After all you can haveseveral e-mail addresses in one Comm.method if needed. Other comm.methods can always be selected manually for manual sending. In Report Definitions there is already a Category for Delivery Document so I would say that no additional basic data is needed.
I am afraid there is no ready solution for this. We are planning to create solution with custom objects. It is at the moment under investigation in IFS.
Yes you can set up the default currency for customer and it is then used in Customer Order and Customer Invoice by default. And if it is different that base currency it also displays prices and amount in base currency. But actual Customer Invoice currency is always the same as Customer Order currency. The need here is to have Customer Order in EUR, get the pricing done in EUR and then create invoice in PLN using the exchange date of each delivery for currency conversion from EUR to PLN when invoice is created.
Hi I do not think that should be a customization. It should be part of standard process and missing Customer Agreement there is a bug. As you say a Customer Agreement that is excluded from automatic pricing, can be given manually in manual Customer Order header entry. Incoming CO message creates CO header and lines and therefore it should allow to bring in Customer Agreement ID. And if it not set in message then use standard pricing logic to fetch the default just like manual CO header entry.Customer that is ordering using these messages knows the agreements they have. And if they want to use project type of agreement defined for one specific purpose they should be able to do it.So I think this should be added as a standard functionality. Simply add that field in message contents. CO header logic should be able to handle the remining process.
