I tried this, but it doesn’t go trough.
Why dont you use the Action Type=Streem Message and the url designer?
I’ll be looking forward to that!
Thanks for taking some of the magic out of this process! I was not aware that the .xls file is just a XLST script to format XML into somthing else. w3schools.com has a tutorial, and I’ll go home and read it and see where that brings me. It don’t seem to complicated. https://www.w3schools.com/xml/xsl_intro.asp I don’t think there will a need for any java code.
Thanks for your answer. I’m affraid this is over my head. I need to design the output in details in order to get the reciever to accept the message, and I can’t make any changes to this .jar. So I’m affraid I cant use it.
We are waiting for this upgrade :)
Thanks, I have been looking for this solution for a very long time.
The response doesn’t come as an application message. I don’t have the READER_RESPONSE queue, and it doesn’t show in any other queue. I’m not sure how to handle this...
Next step in this for me is to grap the response from the endpoint and work with it in the database. Follow along in this new question: https://community.ifs.com/technology-all-about-the-nuts-and-bolts-that-make-it-work-50/how-to-grap-the-application-message-response-1880
I changed the api, to accept text/plain, and now it works. Thanks
I can try. Does it mean it will only accept Content-Type: text/plain ? What headers I’m sending from postman is: Content-Type: text/plain Content-Type: Application/json
That is a cool procedure! It does the job. Does it use the message system somehow? And what is the function of Message_SYS.Construct('UPDATECOLINE'); ? It seams like it can be set to what ever you like. BR Kresten
If I run Customer_Order_Line_API.Modify__() from an event started by change on Customer_Order_Line_Tab then I get problems with mutations. But if it is done in background I can’t see that it would be a problem. The code could be put into the API, but this is what I would like to avoid. The problem is, that if I want to use Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call(), all the arguments needs to go into the attr_ parameter. And for using the Modify__ procedure I allso need to put all the arguments into an attr_ parameter. How can I put the arguments for the modify__ into an attr_ and then put that into the next attr_ for the deferred_Call() Does that make sense? Kresten
I’m sending it from IFS to a Routing Address with Destination Type=Http and Envelope=SOAP_SIMPLE I’m used to sending messages as a file to a server, and the server would then return a file on the server. That file I can grap with some inbound routing setup, but what happens to the SOAP response? Will it become an Application Message? BR Kresten
