Hi @KKSloane,How long Gather Statistics job takes to complete can depend on the database size & performance, batch queue where the background job belongs, job’s schedule, parameters etc. You need to investigate each of these areas to determine where the slowness lies.
You need to setup a Service Account bypassing MFA as in theory this account isn’t attached to a real person to pass MFA.
@Mathias Dahl : Thank you for your direction. We are going through this excercise as part of Apps 9 to IFS Cloud (Hosted) upgrade process.Currently, we used up all the storage allocated for storing the database files in IFS Hosted Cloud and our only option is to Mass Delete Documents from IFS Cloud as a short term solution before going through a more systematic approach for Apps 9 (Hosted by IFS).In IFS Cloud, I have been trying to create Database Tasks using the following Methods to Delete Document Files for Document Revisions set to Obsolete: EDM_FILE_API.DELETE_FILE_ and DOC_ISSUE_API.DELETE_DB_FILE but the document files aren’t getting deleted.Besides a custom method development, isn’t there a public method available to mass delete Obsolete documents from the database?TIA!
Thank you for you reply.Ideally, we would like to be able to reset the FSS storage to blank prior to each upgrade iteration so that we will be able to migrate documents using Transfer documents screen from DB to FSS to ensure any new document revisions created between upgrade iterations are available as well.Based on your second response above, if files which exist throw ‘already exist’ error, will the net new documents between iterations migrate OK ensuring the complete set of documents are available? However, this also means that the documents which already exist in FSS Repository from previous upgrade itreration and failed to migrate will still reside in the database? This may not work for what we are trying to achieve and already a concern raised by our Upgrade TSM.
Just to confirm my question is based on using Transfer Documents screen in IFS Cloud not FS Mig Tool. Also, the unanswered question is what happens to the documents which already exist in FSS Repository from previous upgrade itreration - will they still reside in the database?
