Hi. We are using the screen Resource Analysis to review manufacturing demand against planned avilable resource but can't work out what the ‘Preliminary demand’ and ‘Planned demand’ is used for?

our graph only shows Shop order, CRP calculated and Absence data (see below).

Hi,

I’m sorry for digging out that topic but I’m trying to figure it out as well. Have you found answer to your question?

I’m mostly interested how to show customer demand (coming from plans/schedules only, not orders as they are already visible here) as planned or preliminary demand here in resource analysis.

Is it possible?

@olek , does this help at all ?

Demand Status

The column demand status is used in resource management and gets its value by mapping the status from the origin of the source. The demand status can have four different statuses Preliminary, Planned, Committed and Completed.
The following mappings are used to map the origin status from the different sources to the demand status value.

Thanks, I’ve already found that table, unfortunately it doesn’t help much becuase it looks that there’s no possibility to show customer demand from schedules in resource analysis.
