Hi, does anyone know how to get fx a EUR pallet automatically added to a purchase order, when ordering a specific part? Some parts are always delivered on fx. 2 EUR pallets - and we dont want to remember to manually put them on the PO.

Set Image visibility based on a Condition in Report Designer Layout

Can anyone please suggest how I can set the image visibility based on a condition (Client Version Apps 8 SP1 ) ? I have given the condition as below for the selected image, but image visibility is not changing . Can anyone provide any guidance or point me to the step I might be missing? Thank you.

Display dynamic images in a new Report Designer layout

I am trying to add non logo type images to Report Designer layout (Client Version Apps 8 SP1 ) based on different report conditions. I have set the default graphics path as a file location in the machine and Explicit run time path in the server as below .Client MachineThe image files are physically presented in the folder path in application server . But I was not able to display the image in the report . Can anyone provide any guidance or point me to the step I might be missing?Thanks

Print Transport Task in Apps 10

Hello,we are looking into upgrading to IFS10 (current version IFS8) .i have a very basic question: i cannot find the ‘Print Transport task’ option in the Right Mouse Button of IFS10, i read the documentation, looks like it should be under the Right Mouse Button Menu. Can anyone point me to the right direction, if it is moved from right mouse menu...IFS10: IFS8: the option is greyed out but it is there... Thanks

FSM Perform DataRow Not Working

I’ve been trying to manually trigger the <perform_send_notification> perform method via XML but the data record doesn’t attach itself to the message. Here is the XML I’m running: <perform_send_notification> <parameters> <dataRow> <request> <request_id>1234567</request_id> <request> </dataRow> <distr_list_id>PART_ORDERS</distr_list_id> <message_name>ICN</message_name> </parameters> </perform_send_notification> I run this in the XML Poster and the email is sent, but it’s missing the Request information that I’m trying to pass to it. I’ve also tried substituting a hierarchy_select statement within the dataRow parameter, but that also didn’t work correctly. Can anyone provide some guidance on the proper syntax to fill into the dataRow parameter in order to connect the data to the message?

Deleting/Cleansing old collaborative forecasts

Hi folks, I’m running into a weird situation where old collaborative forecasts from the Demand Client can’t be deleted. I’ve tried to delete trolleys, unpublish to specifics folks in IEE, nothing seems to work. Moreover, I can’t seem to find documentation on how it’s supposed to work - for whatever reason, I recall that running “create forecasts” on the Demand Server should cleanse old collaborative forecasts….but that doesn’t seem to be what’s happening. Am I off base in my memory? Is there a way to force a refresh/deletion of collaborative forecasts?

Custom API grant issue

Hi folks,Wondering if anyone can help with an api grant issue i‘m stuck with? Prevent Receiving More Than Ordered on PO

I need to limit the quantity received for each part number. If the PO states (5) I need to prevent someone from receiving (6) if the supplier shipped more than was ordered without authorization. Where is this found? Thank you.

We are using ISO 20022 in file payments, The file name created is very long and strange, so we want to change that logic. How do you do that? ISO20022 is XML files and the file type have no file template or outgoing file template.

Hi, Has anybody used IFS to create a bacs file for Euro payments? I need to generate a supplier bacs file with all the fields that are needed for Euro payments to Ireland - doesn’t have to be 100% accurate as we can use other software to generate it in the correct format as per bank requirements.

FSM Report Print issue

Unable to see the downloaded PDF report/Service inquiry form after I click on the “Print” button in any page. In request page, if I click Print, getting the following error.System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Report file REQUESTS.rdlc not found. Check CLIENT_REPORTS_PATH setting. at Metrix.UI.ClientReport.RdlcReportHelper.OpenReportFile(String reportName) at Metrix.UI.ClientReport.RdlcReportHelper..ctor(String reportName, String reportRefName, Boolean isSubReport, Dictionary`2 reportQueries) at Metrix.UI.Util.RunReportingService(String reportNameWithParameters, String outputFileType) But, corresponding *.rdlc files are there in installed path location. billing currency in voucher detail

The voucher detail currency always populates to the billing currency of the entire request. however, each NPU & PU have billing currency's on them individually. if we were to bill 1 NPU line to a USD bill to and the remainder to a CAD bill to, it will ignore those and only put what is under the request itself, not the specific line items. is there a way to adjust the voucher detail to take the currency from the line itself rather than the entire request?

IFS BA Previewer Not Installed Error

Hello all, We recently installed BA on a user computer. It appears to work fine in Excel, and will load data. However, when trying to preview the report in IFS itself, in the BA folder, the following error message loads: “Cannot View File Type .xlsx A Previewer is not installed”. Is it possible to change the posting messages to be more specific? - Unbalance proposal state

We have posting proposals that are unbalance due to missing information. The problem is, the information isn't as specific as the users would prefer. For instance - we have a posting proposal here, where we have received an invoice but the PO was already fully utilised. Normally that would entail someone logging a change order, but the message is a little generic: This one does have a PO, but there is no balance left so cannot be receipted. Can the message be changed? I would more expect this message id to be ‘NOARR’ NOARR Arrival is missing on the entered Purchase Order(s) or no Invoicing Advice entered.

IFS Business Reporter - Save Report

After clicking on the Save Report Option and filling out the required report information and saving the report it “appears” to save to the database. However, when I try to load the report it doesn’t show up in the pop-up to re-load it. Also, in the Load Report pop-up the only report structure node that shows up is Example Reports. Am I missing a step in the set-up somewhere?

Remote Warehouse Address on PO

I have created a remote warehouse and on my remote warehouse I’ve setup the address to be that of one of my supplier’s address ID. I created my supplier assortment with parts and refill parameters. I run the refill parts and I get my expected Purchase Requisition. I convert that to a PO and I see the Internal Destination ID and my Register Arrival has the default location of my Remote Warehouse, but on my PO I don’t have the delivery address of my remote warehouse. Am I missing something here? What’s the point of setting the address on the remote warehouse and it cannot automatically show on my delivery address for my replenishment order?
