Quantity per Assembly field digit number modification

In "Recipe Structure"1.In Site window > Manufacturing tab > "Number of Decimals in Recipe Structure" > Set value as ‘3’2.Navigate to "Recipe Structure" screen > Query any record for the relevant site 3.Observed the “Quantity per Assembly” field values.4.the “Quantity per Assembly” field has expected decimal places as defined in step 1.But in our test enviornment as done above, still having strange figure of the decimals in qty per assembly. production report error

Hello, I am having issue that people are over production reporting. I cant reverse. What is the correct way to reverse production. Example reported 900 which was really 90. I have shipped 90 and the 810 need to be reverse. Thank YouCarrie

unable to close accounting period

in IFS , we are un-able to close the accounting period 10-2018system generated this errori checked the relation between user group and accounting period.the GA user group is not there in that period; i added it but still error is there; because of the creation date.is it safe to update the creation dateif not what is the solution.

Error in Transfer of Inventory Transaction History

I got the following error while Transfering Inventory Transaction History to finance. Error - “The user group AC is not connected to any period with the date 29-FEB-20 in Company xxxx”Function - Mpccom_Accounting_API.Transfer_To_FinanceI checked all the basic setup such as Users per user group, User groups per period etc. and it was ok.Then I selected all the Inventory Transactions for 29-FEB-20 and change the Date applied to 28-FEB-20 and I got the following error. "No Period exists for the date 28-FEB-20 in company xxxx.Any valid reason?When we check the periods it looks like below and ideally it should ends with 29-02-2020

Refreshing Dictionary Cache options

Refreshing the Dictionary Cache within IFS takes ages. I believe that this can be done by executing the relevant API which would allow to refresh in groups i.e. VIEWS, etc., Is there documentation on this, for instance which API and what options are available.Can you please advise.

I tried to play with conditional fields and where-ever I seem to try it I get the following information message: View [view_names] not found in dictionary. e.g. I have refreshed the Dictionary Cache using the IFS Refresh Cache area.

I already have a company with my accounting calendar starting from 1st Jan. We already have setup and transactions under this company. Now I need to change the accounting calendar from next year so that it starts from 1st Apr. Can I amend accounting calendar of the existing company?

Are there performance differences on the different implementation types on custom fields?I’m building a printout that will require quite a few custom fields and I’m pondering the performance differences on the different types. My aim is to build a light impact solution.If I can retrieve a value using any of Reference, Select and Expression, which is most efficient?

Tip: Replacing Enterprise Application Search

With Enterprise Application Search dropped from Aurena, I came up with a way to crudely replicate this feature using just straight relational Oracle, with no add-ins.This scans every leftmost column of every index, using both primary and secondary indexes. It only returns results where the table has a _PK index associated with it. I excluded ROWKEY to speed it up a bit, but it’s still somewhat slow.As well as scanning common indexes, it also scans any UPPER() function-based indexes you might have. It’s otherwise case-sensitive.The system load on a scan this big is fairly risky, so it only does an exact match. Users typically don’t understand why HelloWorld% is so much faster than %HelloWorld, and I didn’t want to spend time parsing the expression for safety.I recommend using this for specific searches. Don’t use an internal company ID, for example. You might implement this with a SQL Quick Report like this:SELECT * FROM TABLE(c_enterprise_search_api.get_search_results('&SEARCH_STR

Print SO Work Instr and Doc Man attachments/inherited docs

We are on Apps9 and are looking for a creative solution. To outline…A pdf drawing for a part is attached to Inventory Part using Doc Man. Through Object Connection Transformation we ‘inherit’ this document to Shop Orders. Our Shop Orders have a detailed “job sheet” (Shop Order specific) which is attached to the individual SO Op Work Guideline directly. When printing “Work Instructions” for the individual Shop Order, we select the “Print Attached Documents” option However, this does NOT print the pdf drawing document inherited from the Inventory Part; only the “job sheet”. Any ideas/suggestions/starting points would be appreciated.Thank you.

IFS query concurrency, multiple call to database

Hi, We set up an application with a Java backend (using Java Access Provider), front in JS/PHP, requests are sent via ajax and we noticed some curious things :When a single user login, (all ajax requests are async), the application will sometimes throw an bad credentials (comming from IFS Web logic) when user making an action (saving, loading, ...). When a single user login, (all ajax [for testing] requests are sync), the application won’t throw any bad credentials (comming from IFS Web logic) when user making an action (saving, loading, ...). When two users use the app at the same time (async and sync requests) one of the user will have a bad credentials (comming from IFS Web logic) .We are 99% sure that those errors are due to a concurrency in Oracle or WebLogic. The error occurs when multiple users are making the same request. The problem is weird because IFS should handle multiple connections (hopefuly) We checked the value of Server variable passed to all request made : it’s the

How to navigate to a screen with from an element on a lobby that has custom object.

Hi,I’m trying to go to the posting proposal screen from an element using the data source condition which has custom objects in data source which are the same on the page. Below is my error and the other screen shot is my navigation settings. Basically i want it to go to the company with the custom site and custom status so it will populate that information. When I click off use data source condition and only select the company for the target it works with no errors but it displays everything for that company and i want it based on the data sources condition for the company,site and status.Any help would be great.CheersMaggie

I mean to say that Previous year all requests which are even closed /completed along with its transactions from’ Request to Invoice’ can this be done.
