I have a number of unlinked absence requests that I am unable to remove. Could anyone advice how to delete these records?
Why would you like to remove them? The reason for an absence request to get in status Unlinked is most of the time that the employee didn’t take exactly the same time off as was planned in the request or that the time report is changed for example like use of an other absence wage code.
Even if it is in status unlinked the absence request was still created and approved… and a historical information on that employee.
In our case, the unlinked absence request was caused by legacy processes being used on top of the absence request (manually adjusting the time card rather than approving/rejecting the absence) which has started to cause confusion amongst the employees reviewing their information.
