I would like to get your opinion about how to report time in the below scenario:
This employee his normal working hours is from 8AM to 4PM and he is entile for overtime.
My question is:
Let's say this employee worked in the early morning from 2AM to 4AM. After that he started his normal hours (8AM to 12PM) in the same day, but he needs to take a half day leave (12PM to 4PM) on the same day. In the screenshots below you can see the scenario.
As per the attached screenshot 2, the result we get now is not corrrect. The issue here is that the normal hours are not calculated correctly.
The result we would expect is that the system will calculate it like this:
- 2 overtime hours (2AM to 4AM)
- 4 norm hours (8AM to 12PM)
- 4 absence hours (12pm to 4pm)
