IFS Cloud - Use a user other than 'ifs' to install Middletier

Hi,

Can we use a user than ‘ifs’ user to install IFS middletier in middletier server in IFS Cloud 23R2.

Customer requirement is to use domain user and not local ifs user to do the installation.

In the remote-scripts its hardcoded to use /home/ifs. Will it work if I change those values to the home of user I have provided in main_config.json file?

Hi - Yes, it should work - you specify the “LinuxUserName” in main_config.json

Thanks. Yes apart from specifying “LinuxUserName” I also have to update the path of /home/ifs directory in ifsroot/remote-scripts/install-k8s file.
