Can we have journal report in Excel? currently we are using Account Journal Report dialogue box to create a PDF report.
Yes, but you have to design it as quick report, you can’t use the dialog here to get it.
Quick report, you mean I have to create a SQL statement?
Yes, that is the only way I know to get you what you need as a downloaded file.

In the report layout template you can insert logo of company, some more data which is not in the PDF report etc.

A little bit of technical work is required.
You need to create an rpl in report definition.
Then create layout in excel and add to report layout template.
