Yes, but you have to design it as quick report, you can’t use the dialog here to get it.

@ShawnBerk Thank you for your reply.

Quick report, you mean I have to create a SQL statement?

Yes, that is the only way I know to get you what you need as a downloaded file.

@ShawnBerk Ok, thank you.

Hello @ronhu ,

Addition to @ShawnBerk  suggestion, you can create other plugin and create a report layout template with required columns. Then you can directly export into excel from report output popup window. When you click preview, IFS will download report in excel.

In the report layout template you can insert logo of company, some more data which is not in the PDF report etc.

Hope this helps

@gumabs Thank you for your reply.

I don’t see this option in our system. the Excel option might need technical assistance, correct?

Hi @ronhu

A little bit of technical work is required.

You need to create an rpl in report definition.

Then create layout in excel and add to report layout template.

Here you can see the documentation

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/foundation1/050_development/025_operational_reporting/190_using_report_plugins/040_excel_plugin/

Hope this helps

@ronhu are you using Business Reporter?

@gumabs Many thanks.

@cperdue Thank you for your reply. We tried, but come with bugs, and never continue.

The bugs typically occur when there are conflicts in software releases.

Most of our financial users utilize Business Reporter and Power BI.   This resolves the need for IT Admin support of report outputs.

@cperdue Cannot agree with you more. Thank you.
