Hi Srikant,

These are both commit rules, used by the PSO Schedule Dispatch Service (DSP).

Time Horizon is the duration from the current time that the DSP will consider any activities for committing. In other words the activity or the start of travel to the activity must be within the time horizon for it to be suggested for committing.

Time Before Shift Start is how long before the start of the next shift does it have to be for the DSP to suggest a commit. For example if a shift starts at 09:00 and Time Before Shift Start is 2 hours then the DSP cannot start suggesting commits until 07:00.

Hope that helps,

Tom

Hi Srikant,

Please find the below example.

Time Before Shift Start - Task get dispatch before 1 Hour of Engineer start time, Suppose if Engg starting at 08:00AM the 1st task will dispatch @07:00AM and he will get notified.

Time Horizon:  - Suppose there is 1st task assigned at 08:00AM , 2nd task assigned at 10AM & 3rd Task assigned at 12:00PM then based on Time horizon configuration task will get auto dispatch to Engg.

In below example Time Horizon is 4hrs, so after 1st task get dispatch at 07:00am then it will dispatch other task within next 4hrs tie stamp.

Hope its clear.

Regards,

Shiyaz
