How to add translation to new Data item - WADACO

I’m guessing you want to have the new data items included in the lng files that you export?

One thing to remember, You need to deploy the post script in the database where you are going to export the lng file from.

1. Go to scan translatable code window and press manage scan List there
2. Select a component (the component where the process resides in, so in this case it should be INVENT) and click the Manage Scan List link to add items to scan.
3. Then you should go through the packages starting from DataCapt prefix and select the relevant items and add them. For example, if you are adding a new data item to a specific process, you should add DataCaptProcDataItem
4. Press Start scanning
5. Go to Export language file Window
6. Select the LU and export files
7. Check in the exported file, lng file should contain your correction
