We tried restoring from several backups , getting the following message . How to overcome and resolve this. Is cold backup the only solution.

As a quick check ensure correct backup pieces used for the restoration.
Find the correct backup pieces from the last full backup run and start the clone again.
Make sure backup used for the restoration complted without any errors
