What is the best way to migrate rdbms oracle from 12.2.0.1 to 19.3

I look towards Oracle AutoUpgrade Tool (AutoUpgrade) .

I have tried Oracle upgrades using DBCA and manual upgrade (script based) and both were successful. I don't think there is a recommended way enforced for this but you can use any method which is more convenient for you
