Are cloud service updates cumulative deliveries? Can one be skipped?

We have an on-premise server that is working with version 21.1.2, and we have previously gone through the build place update process to push the version in the build place to 21.1.4. this has generated a delivery.

However have not yet applied that delivery to our on-premise server, but are now looking at moving up to 21.1.7.

If we move the build place to 21.1.7 and then generate a delivery, does the 21.1.4 delivery need to be applied to the on-premise server, first THEN 21.1.7? Or can we just apply 21.1.7 and skip the older 21.1.4?

Any update on this?

Is this the same for a remote instance running 21.1.7 ?

Remote Instance is 21.1.7

Build Place is 21.1.8 (delivery not applied to remote yet)

Release Update Studio is 21.2.1

Can I apply the 21.2.1 delivery from the release update studio to the remote instance currently running 21.1.7 and everything will be ok?

Hi @KieranFJ ,

As far as i’m aware SU’s are cumulative so you should be able to move directly from SU2 to SU7. I will let someone from PD to confirm tho.

cheers
