Is it possible for IFS to flag up if a Quality control analysis result will be “out of control” in the SPC chart? Currently it will flag up if you are out of spec only. We want some warning if it will be out of control

Hi,

The SPC Control Charts will indicate whether a series of analysis results are ‘Out of Control’

This is based on the Alarm Rules which are selected and whether any of them have been violated;

View the Set Up here …

View the Violations here ..

I hope that this helps.

That is great thanks. What we wandered, is it possible to get a warning when you enter a control result that will cause and “alarm violation” or must you create the SPC chart to get the violation. Thanks Stu

Hi,

You will have to create the SPC Control Chart to see the Alarm Rule violations in IFS Applications 10.

However, there is additional ‘real time SPC’ functionality in the latest release of IFS Cloud 22R2 which you can read more about here;

I hope this helps.
