Register direct delivery doesn´t work in the language"german"

Dear Team,

 

I have a strange BUG when I´m working with Cloud 21R1 in german. If I will register Direct delivery in “german” I get the following error message:

 

 

 

And when I register the direct delivery in “englisch” (under Settings - language “english”) it works:

This sounds like an unhandled bug. Can you please report a support case with the environment where this has occurred?

We have run across several instances as far back as V9 where German language is not handled well for parameters and field values.  I’m sure this is a related issue which one would have hoped would be fixed by Cloud.  Definitely a bug.

One instance we had was True/False works fine for fields, but for some fields (Manual Supplier Invoice for example)  Wahr/Falsch for the equivalent was not handled because the field was limited to 5 characters, thus Falsch would not be accepted.  English worked fine.

Our German colleagues are not impressed with the German function of IFS compared with SAP.
