Hello,

I have a question about the Intercompany process direct delivery to the customer and need your help.

When I create a customer order on the demand site and ad a item withe the supply code “Purch Order Dir” the system created a PO. In this PO the delivery adress on the PO line and in the header level are different. Is there a way to get the delivery adress vom the customer order on the header and the position level in the PO?

Thank you, for your help.

Hannah

hi,

The address in the supply site information selected in the internal supplier card or the delivery address selected on the site can be checked.

Thank you! But I think that’s not what I need to know or I do not understand you. I try to explain my problem more accurate:

I create a customer order on the demand site. That order needs to be delivered via Intercompany from the supply site direct to the customer. I changed the supply code of all Items in this customer order into “purch order dir”. Now the system created a purchase order after release. On the purchase order line is the customer address from the customer order entered. But in the header of the purchase order is the delivery address of the demand site entered. – Now I need to know, why the purchase order is crated with two different addresses? Is there a way to create the purchase order with the customer order delivery address in the header of the purchase order?

Hello Hannah.

Not as far as I know. The delivery address in PO header is managed via site. According to help: “This field displays the ID for the delivery address. The address is connected to the site in Site window.”

If you have only a handful of customers, you could add all of their addresses as an additional address in your site. Then you could select the correct delivery address in PO header. But honestly not a good idea.

The delivery address in PO line can be different from the delivery address given in the header. As your PO is direct delivery, the column “single occurrence” is probably active.

As there is no standard way of getting delivery address from customer in PO header nor line, we created a custom field (CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_API.Get_Ship_Addr_No) and use this as our reference.

Regards

Hello,

According to the source I found, customer address information comes to the purchase order line, not to the purchase order header.
