Disable SEND_FREIGHT_BOOKING functionality to avoid creating Application messages

Hi Team, 

One of our customer wants to remove the standard SEND_FREIGHT_BOOKING integration and get rid of the application message that are generated with the Error status. 

I initially instructed him to disable the below routing rule 

But even after disable the routing rules, they still gets the Application messages. They dont want those application messages at all as they never used this functionality. 

Is there a way to disable this functionality to avoid such application messages are genereted?

    Sending Freight Booking Integration initiate from Shipment Object by either manually execute the Command Share/Send Freight Booking(screenshot 1)  or having as option event in Shipment Type (Screenshot 2).

Make sure the customer is not initiating those with above cases if they are not using the Freight Booking Integration . 

Routing rule is to route how you want process the messages after it has been created , meaning disable of routing rule will  not help to avoid Application messages .
