I have a situation where a customer’s serialized items are loaded into a handling unit for shipment t one or several customers. These can be configured custom items so it is important to know what part went where in a handling unit so that the items can be delivered in the order of a delivery.
Routes and load planning may be an option but this customer wants to use handling units. I can see no place for a delivery sequence to be recorded on items within the handling unit.
I’d appreciate any thoughts on this!
