Has anyone else noticed a change in which a user defined Customer Order block reason cannot be modified?

This was possible in Apps 10.

Has this functionality been removed?

Noticed this in 22R2 SUPD 4 & 5 (two different environments)

Recreation steps:

  1. Create two different user defined Customer Order Block Reasons
  2. Create a Customer Order
  3. Click Operations and Manually Block Order
  4. Select a Block Reason
  5. Save
  6. Edit the Customer Order and attempt to select a different Block Reason
  7. Either you’re unable to Save or the change value reverts upon saving to the original

Hi,

I think this needs to be reported to RnD as a bug. If IFS does not want users to change the block reason, they should not enable it at edit.

(I could not do it in APP10 UPD8 Aurena as well)

Also, I tried to get the save enabled by doing multiple changes (such as changing the note text etc.) but system simply ignores it. Something needs to be fixed, either allowing us to save it, or not enabling it at edit.

Your workaround however is releasing the block and (quickly) blocking using the new reason.

Thanks

Thanks for reviewing and testing, @AsankaGaru.

I should have specified, but it was possible in Apps 10 IEE, which is interesting.  I actually did not try it in Apps 10 Aurena.

I previously suggested the workaround to the customer I am working with, but it’s a bit of a tough sell, especially considering the reasons are not natively captured in the Order History.

I will likely report this to RnD with a case.  Will report back here.
