Hi IFS Community,

We have developed a customized tab on Work Task as part of an implementation.

On this screen, we upload a list of parts through an upload job. These parts are already received and barcodes generated against them during receipt.

Against each part, we need to add details of part (related to issuance) by scanning the generated bar code pasted to the physical part.

Please provide information on how we can do this in IFS Aurena.

Regards,

Vinay

Sounds very vague of what you want to do and what kind of barcode we are talking about here. Not sure if you want to use wadaco functionality in a regular client or something else?

What kind of barcode are we talking about here? is it the special IFS inventory part barcode that can be found in the Inventory Part Barcode Analysis or is some own created/customized barcode you are referring to, like multi-item barcode following the GS1 barcode standard perhaps?

If its the Inventory Part Barcode Analysis barcode in this case, you could use the API connected to that package to fetch the connected values from the barcode_id that you enter/scan into your client and set them to what field or internal variables you want but that is something you have to code yourself.

But if its your own barcode and a multiitem barcode you have to add your own code to handle that I would guess.

You cannot use much of the solution we did in wadaco in a regular client.

You know you can connect any usb/bluetooth scanner connected to your pc and scan anything you want into a field that is in focus in the client.
