This might be a simple question,
But while working on a work order in MWO on a phone, should the user also see the same data entered on his MWO on his windows app? Should he see the same Work Orders in both apps?
I did not think they sync’d back and forth like that, but I have a user asking about this and I am not sure of the answer.
MWO supports multiple devices so that multiple devices for one user will work fine - provided when switching between the devices there is connectivity. There is no communication in MWO between the devices, so the data is sent from device 1 to the server then to device 2 (and vice versa). Caution is needed if users are supposed to change data of the same entity on both devices, as this might cause the overwriting of changes without any user notification.
This is my take on it as well, that data will be overwritten of on device is not sync’d before trying to do work on the other device.
