Hi everyone, my customer is extensively working with the maintenance surveys. Throughout the implementation of them, we have noticed a couple of things, I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar requests/situations to these:

  • Sometimes the question flow seems off when having a dependency on Yes/No questions, especially if the dependency is not directly after the dependent question (e.g. Q1 = Yes/No, Q2 = no dependency, Q3 = dependency on Q1).
Is this a bug that we're encountering or is this a design thing?
  • Seeing as our customer is working almost only on a mobile phone, they were noticing that the "Maximum x item(s) can be selected" for multi-choice questions are taking in a lot of screen space.. Does anyone know if this sentence can be removed?
  • On open-ended questions one can add a mask, but that removes the ability to scan a value. Has anyone found a way to make both of them work?

Customer is on 24R1 SU3

Hi,

  1. The issue related to dependent questions could be for a specific scenario. Please report an issue with en example for further investigations.
  2. For the second, have you tried to shorten the text in translations

Uthpala

Hi Uthpala,

Thank you for the information.

Can you point me to which exact screen I need for the translations? Don't think I can find it.

I'll create an issue for the other scenario

Do you have an answer for my third question as well?

  • On open-ended questions one can add a mask, but that removes the ability to scan a value. Has anyone found a way to make both of them work?

Hi ,

Text Translations can be found  here . Solution Manager\Translation Development\Text Translations.  Translations for each language are delivered through trs file together with the lng file in the release.

Regarding scan, this may be restricted as the input is validated for each character against the Input Mask.  I have not come across a solution for this.

Regards,

Uthpala
