+14Is there a way in IFS to not allow a technician to be clocked into multiple assignments at once from different WO’s? I am pretty sure the functionality exists on the manufacturing side on the shop floor workbench but I don’t see a way to do this on the Service & Maintenance side of IFS Apps 10. Any ideas?

Hi Curtis,
This can be done through a workflow configuration. Create one with the configuration type “Work Task” and then in actions de-activate Multiple Assignments. Then you will get an error when trying to start a task when another task is already started:
