In a live environment, How to identify the client version ( MWO version ) of each users are using based on devices.
In Apps 8:

The mobile devices page, General tab is useful to identify individual user version. But this is not the case in Apps 9 and in Apps 10.

In Apps 9:

The 'App version' name is perhaps slightly misleading but what happens is that when a new app version is released there is an update to all active (at that time) device app records in that view to allow them to access the server. It is not intended for use as a reflection of the app/client version in use at that point in time.

In Apps 10:

It’s the same as Apps 9.

Clarification on App Client Version (Apps9/Apps10).

The version you see in IEE under installed app devices is server app version. As Vinu says, this version get automatically updated whenever new cloud application version is published via IFS Touch App Server.

You can find the real client version from the Touch Apps Usage logs. From Touch Apps Admin console, open the Usage log screen. Then you can see exactly what client version is used by end user.

However latest IFS Native Framework shows client app version in the Installed App Devices screen.
