We would like to realize the Document Attachment function by batch processing (PL/SQL) in IFS 10.

Could you tell me how to implement it?

We're considering that IFS receive image files from an external system, execute the Document Attachment function in batch processing, and keep links with datas stored in any remote server, not the database.

Thanking you in advance.

I would not have the time to get into details, but what you ask for is certainly possible using PL/SQL. Have a look at this earlier discussion on a similar topic: https://community.ifs.com/people-human-capital-management-payroll-38/document-attachments-1806

Good luck!

Kota,

Are you really considering the images to become part of Document Management?

Maybe an easier option is to go for media library. It works great, can be linked to any object in IFS.

Downside is that you don't have versioning (why would you need one on images) and no approval round.
