One of our customer has IFS Apps 10 implementation (IFS App Server is on Windows 2016 Server OS) with Oracle 19C Enterprise Edition obtained as a AFSU license from IFS on a AIX Power 8 Machine. Now the customer is looking at migrating the database to a new Virtual Machine running Oracle Linux 7.4 or higher as the OS. Does this require to get a new License from IFS for the Oracle? How do we get the Oracle 19C (AFSU license) from IFS that can be installed on Oracle Linux?
I would like to know the Cloud architecture considerations when 21R1 is hosted on customer owned Azure environment? Where do I get the Hardware Sizing guide when Customer wants to install 21R1 on-premise?
Can someone help me understand the following with respect to IFS Apps 10 in regards to Replication: Is unbundling of replication message bundle provided as a standard feature in IFS10? Can Oracle WebLogic handle incoming messages in onshore (thus avoiding to use separate Oracle Services to handle incoming messages from each Rig)?. Understand that using multiple Oracle services to handle incoming messages from each Rig reduces the overall Oracle DB performance
