One of our customer has IFS Apps 10 implementation  (IFS App Server is on Windows 2016 Server OS) with Oracle 19C Enterprise Edition obtained as a AFSU license from IFS on a AIX Power 8 Machine.

Now the customer is looking at migrating the database to a new Virtual Machine running Oracle Linux 7.4 or higher as the OS. Does this require to get a new License from IFS for the Oracle? How do we get the Oracle 19C (AFSU license) from IFS that can be installed on Oracle Linux?

Technically ASFU licenses should be able to migrate between servers regardless of the OS which oracle database is hosted. but better verify this with IFS them selves

Hi @ProSriniA ,

As part of your migration you may need to convert the database from big endian to little endian.
