Hi @Jason_beth, Could you please compare the title length of a received email and not received email? (If your email subject exceeds 200 characters then you will not see the email via IFS applications.) Seems the issue is being occurred when sending emails to IFS only. We asked our suppliers to use a format when sending emails. We maintain a format similar to below. But not the exact one. So subject length can be exceed 200 characters as per the below example. Ex:Company : XXXXXXXXX : Description : Confirmation of Material details : Product Chemical : T0009-93333-44454-XA334453 : Date : 29-December-2019 : Officer : V-02564 : Approved : V-02313 : Count : 35 : Remain : N/A : Advanced payment : Paid : END
Hi @Sandun, Thank you for the reply. No recent modification done in the mail reader. Neither error, nor warning messages were appearing for the emails which were received by the IFS. Further, I didn’t get any Delivery failed receipts for the emails which were not received to IFS. I followed your URLs. But seems the issue, not same in the Links. It’s hard to say the title length exceeds 200 characters. We have requested from our suppliers to follow a common standard when sending emails. Based on the supplier details length can be varied.
I hope your IFS Application’s update level is between 7 and 14. The existing behavior in your IFS Application’s update level by default shows you extra columns which were related to the reference type custom fields. Even though those seems like unnecessary fields to view, those fields are stored in the database. We believe that those should not visible for users while they are continuing their daily work. Therefore, you can avoid visibility by following below steps. If you have more users who facing this issue, then you can add below correction to a base profile and assign it to those users. Below is an example of LOV which shows database values of Contract and the Part No. List of values with duplicate column RMB (Right mouse button) on the column names in the LOV > Properties Go to Table tab > Then Untick all the columns which should not visible to the users > Apply > Ok After removing duplicate columns Hope above workaround is clear and help you to fix the issue.
Just an idea, Have you added all the key fields for yout second custom fields display text? If not, you maybe seeing different records but could not identify them uniquely as display text is not unique. Rusiru, No I didn’t add all key fields, and this was not visible for all custom fields. As far as only for the custom field type of reference.
