The extension components “IFS for Retail” does not have any integration messages for shipment
The box tab on shipment will show boxes on the customer order line(s) connected to the shipment.Parts/Items on customer order lines get connections to box if the box was added to the customer order.So if the customer order line(s) then are connected to the shipment the box information can be shown on the tab.
For the retail industries there is a base line component WMSINT that contain 6 messages to make the integration work between IFS and a WMS work smoothly. The principle of the integration is this: The messages are these: Part Catalog The message contains item information needed by the warehouse in order to know the characteristics of the item like volume, weight etc. Inbound delivery The items coming into the warehouse expressed in IFS Applications as a purchase order or a RMA. Outbound delivery The items leaving the warehouse expressed in IFS Applications as a customer order, supplier return or a supplier material order. Inbound Delivery confirmation When the goods have arrived the WMS signals this and the item is received into IFS Applications. outbound delivery confirmation When the WMS starts the delivery process it usually sends a zero quantity delivered or a status “Started” to IFS Application and then it is known to the IFS user that the delivery has started.
