Hi @hamalk, @Linda Smit, Many thanks for your inputs on this post. @osojans has entered a support case on the same topic referring this post and it seems that his question is not fully answered. As you suggested we can add/modify field description if a record/line for the particular label/button is shown in the ‘Field Description Editor’ page. (even as ‘Unused’) However there are some labels for which a record is not shown in ‘Field Description Editor’ page. -As an example ‘Part Master Data>Master Part>Part’ has several labels which do not show field descriptions. Ex – Net Weight, Customer Warranty etc. We can not see any record for those labels in ‘Field Description Editor’ page.-Another example is custom fields. *Would there be a way to add field descriptions for such labels?*If it will be available in future versions, can we know which RU/SU you are planning to release it?
Hi @Ragaventhan Sathananda, the main purpose of enabling Heartbeat would be to reduce the dedicated session timeout and keep the client still alive. Below post is sharing very useful information regarding this topic.https://community.ifs.com/training-enablement-and-adoption-120/what-is-heartbeat-functionality-and-how-to-enable-it-3332 As per my knowledge, decreasing the dedicated session timeout to low value like 15 minutes would be fine after enabling heartbeat.
Hi @Ragaventhan Sathananda, if you have not done yet, would that be possible to enable Heartbeat for some time period and check whether it makes any difference?
Please try to add the same arguments to Integration Cluster instead of Main Cluster because the reports are handled by Integration Cluster in APP10.
In addition to the Charith’s explanation, if you have configured proxy/load balancer with middleware, the admin starting page will not allow to access Admin console and Monitoring console. (You will see an error similar to what you get) The idea behind this would be that the internal administration/monitoring tools are not exposed to end users via proxy. Those tools can be accessed via internal URLs like <admin_server_host>:<admin_server_port>/ifsconsole
Please try to set the ‘Limit Request Field Size’ and ‘Limit Request Line’ to higher values within IFS Middleware Server Admin Console (APP10) and check whether it makes any difference for this. For APP9, it has to be done via installer tool when reconfiguring.
I have seen the same error in the oracle alert log (with different user ID) has been reported by one of Swedish customers as well. Initial investigation has revealed that it was related to the Global Extension called e-Ledger for Turkey. I can see IFS Support are investigating it but the root cause for this has not been identified yet.
