Discount calculation in postings

When un-issuing materials in work order the discount is generated according to the customer agreement. You can refer these from postings in Report in Work Order window. During the un-issuing process, the quantity remains as a negative quantity. In the customer agreement, ‘Deal per Sales Group’ tab has a field to give the minimum quantity which will be checking when applying the discount. Many situations it contains the value zero (0). So the negative quantities do not get fetched for these sets. To resolve this, give a negative value for the minimum quantity field and then you can note that the discount was correctly fetched for un-issuing also in work order process.

Why some of the Macros in Document Management do not work after an upgrade takes place from older versions to App9/App10 ?

If your macro script made connections to Application Server via COM access provider, then they will not work anymore in App9/App10 as IFS does not provide COM Access Provider API from IFS Applications 9. .NET Access Provider is the recommended client based access provider in IFS. However, for COM client users, IFS has provided an option to access .NET Access Provider while using a COM client. As Macros make reference through creating objects by reference names, changing those reference name to be compatible with .Net Access provider would resolve this problem. Note that IFS .NET Access Provider must be installed in client machine prior to executing macro such as mentioned in this case. 'sales price' of a work order posting

This tick box indicates which sales price a posting line is using. In another way, price logic tick box is used to Connect/Reconnect to Planning (in Work Order Postings tab). Generally, a "Price Source" of a sales part price can be Manual, Part Based, Price List based or Agreement based. Time recorded for call center activities

Hi Dilini, The time difference is most likely caused by the time zone setting under System Definitions: Please check below set up. [i] • Go to Systems Definition window [/i] [i] • Go to Object property tab [/i] [i] • RMB and click 'search in context'> Search object LU as " ccConfiguration"> check the entry under Property name "Server_TIME_ZONE" [/i] Property value should display the time zone for where the IFS server is physically located. It is a manual entry. So for an example, if the server is physically located in London time zone, this record also should be updated to: Europe/London.
