Because Project Delivery used to be able to do this, we have a customer that would like to know:
Is there any plan for Project Deliverables in future IFS releases to include capability to move Purchase and Supply Option Items after starting supplies?
I tested in a Cloud 21R2 environment, and it appears this can’t be done in either Apps 10 or Cloud 21R2 because:
- To be moved, the Item must be changed back to Planned status
- An Item can’t be changed back to Planned status while it has any supply object connected
For example in Project Delivery this customer used a Phantom as a parent item and under it purchased several item/parts. After a part was ordered and received, they were able to click in the graphic tree on the part and drag/move it under a different parent item.
Also in Project Delivery once a Shop Order was planned and before Materials were reserved to it they were able to move the material part off the Shop Order by drag and drop in the Project Delivery graphic tree.
