I created and approved a project transaction with ‘Create cost accounting’= Yes; but; cost is not updated on activity, although, hours are updated. What could be the reason ?

Hi,
Could you check in the Posting Control that you have Posting Type PRJT1 set up for the Project code part, using Control Type AC2 (Pre-posting)? It could be that you don’t have the project included in the cost posting string, which has the effect that you won’t see the cost on the project. You can also check if this is the case by drilling down to the cost postings for the transaction, which should include the project code part.
