It is today possible to define an Outside Operation Items with a price equal to zero. This can defiantly be fine as a start since it might be so that the price isn’t known but shipping of the parts to the outside operation supplier needs to be done.

However when register arrivals there needs to be a possibility to setup a Zero Cost Forbidden since the price of the Outside Operation Items has a direct impact on the shop order WIP. As it works now there is nothing that prevents register arrivals of the Outside Operation Items with the price equal to zero. This can potential create rather cumbersome problems if the Outside Operation Items is register as arrived with zero cost and it is not detected until late, in worst case the sub quantity of the shop order part is received in to inventory and also reserved to a new shop order. Reversing this in order to correct the shop order cost is not a fun exercise, far from. Hence would it be good to have a similar function to set Zero Cost Forbidden also for Outside Operation Items.
