We recently upgraded from Apps 10 UPD4 to Apps 10 UPD7 and it seems like there was a change in behavior in the Create Project Wizard.  The “Copy Existing Project” box is now checked by default and we haven’t been able to figure out where to turn it off.  Does anyone know if this can be unchecked by default?  And if so, where?

Thank you,

Joann

RMB in the left side of the navigator window or the bottom area of the window.  Select Create New Project

At the bottom of the the window 1/7 the Copy Existing Project box is checked by default

Unfortunately it’s not possible to control these defaults. It’s a common mod to make. In Aurena you’d be able to control it at least.

@anmise Thank you for responding!

Hi @anmise :  Even though this is a late reply, hope this will be informative.

From APP 10 as released version, Copy Existing Project checkbox is selected by default to facilitate copying an  exiting project when creating a new project.

If you want to clear the checkbox by default, a customization should be done to facilitate the code changes for the above.

In Aurena, if you select New Project assistant from a page (E.g.: Project Definition, Projects) Copy Existing Project option will be On by default.  But if you get the New Project assistant in the navigator, copy Existing Project option will be Off by default.
