Shop Order can't be re-opened

Hi,

we are using IFS10, EE-client. We have an issue, when closed SO must be reopen and it’s connected to CO-line which is ‘Invoiced/closed’.

Error message dialog box appears with text: ‘Can not be reopen the shop order. Connected order line status is in state Invoiced/Closed’.

Is there any option to reopen SO, execute needed additions and change status back to closed?

Could that be a custom error message?

(if you have the debug console open while running the system, you can see if there were custom events triggered to prompt this error)

@TKGTIMOR I’m afraid that if the CO has a pegged Shop Order, and the CO is Invoiced/Closed, the only way to re-open the Shop Order would be to:

  • create credit invoice → order will move to delivered
  • undo the delivery
  • reopen the Shop Order + close the Shop Order again
  • process the delivery again
  • create a new invoice.

Even though the SO is pegged to a CO which is in Invoiced/Closed status, the application should allow reopening the SO. For example even though the manufactured goods are delivered, we still might need to adjust some reporting in the SO.

It is difficult to come to a conclusion with provided information. However custom event is a high possibility. Hope this helps.
