We are Reporting Component Scrap on Shop Order and everytime we report/unreport component scrap, we can see those Scrap/Unscrap Component WIP transactions in Material Transaction History but we don’t see these transactions being posted to GL account.
We have a GL account mapped for Scrap and we are running the GL update task as well. Is there a way to track scrap transactions performed on shop order to a GL account?

+25Unfortunately I don’t think it is possible. Reporting component scrap itself will not create any inventory transactions but rather increase the required quantity so that more material can be issued to the material line. That will of course lead to additional material cost on the shop order. But I don’t have a good idea how to trace costs for material issued as a result of component scrapping separate from expected material issues.
