Hi,
We use the repair Shop order. Never has issues with it, untill now.
If we want to receive to SO, We get the error: “Serial number XXX cannot be received because it was not issued or has allready been received to this repair order’
However, if i take a look at the part serial History of that part, the lates line created says under transaction Description: “Issued for Shop order YY” The shop order number is the same as the shop order giving a problem.
On the shop order itself, the material line status of that part is also ‘Issued’
The status of the shop order is ‘started’, all operations are closed. We just need to do the reception.
In the Part serial history of that part, you can see:
- Part was manufuctured using SO Blue
- Part was issued to SO Red
- As the part was faulty, it was unissued and unreserved for SO Red. It’s also not visible in the As Built Structure. The SO is still open
- Part was issued to repair SO Black. This one needs to be closed, so we can issue it back to SO Red and continue production
Any ideas? It looks like a bug to me?
