Register Arrival - Using one Configuration Process

almighty Community,

when parts arrived at the dock, for serialized parts, we might 

1. use supplier serial - Configuration ID 1
2. use our company serial - Configuration ID 2

for option 1, we use one configuration which could scan serial no directly. We configured Register Arrival ID 1

for option 2, we use another configuration which user has to assign Pre, Padding, Seq… to assign serial no manually. We configured Register Arrival ID 2.

then it comes to a problem, user has to switch back and forth from 1 and 2 when receiving parts,  and each time they switch, they have to scan Receipt Reference and PO No again.

would it be possible for WADACO, can switch by just click one key without back out the whole session? or we even don’t have to have 2 configuration ID, one ID that could handle this kind of scenario?
