I am looking for a way to analyze data and generate an alarm when a process is going in the wrong direction.
We currently have Control Plans setup for all manufactured parts. Variable measurement checks are setup on each. We have specified Outer Min, Nominal Value, and Outer Max values.
I was testing the use of SPC in IFS and defining UCL, CL, and LCL values that are within the Min and Max values.
When I create the chart I do see the alarms. My question is, is this the correct solution to achieve the desired results, or should I be leveraging another feature (Inner Target Cp/Cpk)? Any guidance would be appreciated!
