Hello,

I need help to correctly set the deadlines in subcontracting, I was in V9 we had this problem and I do not see any improvement on the 23r1.

I created an external load item and attached a calendar to it, telling it 1 day = 60mm so that I could talk in days but not in hours for subcontracting. I don't know if there's a simpler way of setting this up.

The problem with what I'm doing is that when the subcontracting operation is in progress, if I recalibrate my production order, it doesn't recalibrate the external operation dates correctly.

as long as the external operation is in Released status, the recalibration takes the 10-day delay into account

Remaining Machine Time is set to 10

I have sent my production order to subcontractors and my operation has been placed in work-in-progress.

the Remaining Machine Time field is set to 0 and this poses a problem because if I reset it takes this data and as there is 0 it does not correctly reset my phase.

I advanced my production order from 01/31/2025 to 01/15/2025 and the external operation kept an identical start and end date, but did not take my 10 days into account because the Remaining Machine Time field was set to 0.

i have to make a spe for the subcontracting flow to work correctly i have to miss a setting it's not possible

What Outside Op Report Level are you using, Disallowed, Ship WIP to Supplier, or Purchase Order Arrival?

Try this - in your routing, and on your shop order, set the Mach Setup Time to zero and the Mach Run Factor to 10 with a Factor Unit of Hours.

Hi @matt.watters

I've just tested your settings but it doesn't work. It doesn't take into account the 10-day delay I've attached to my calendar.

Haven't you ever needed to subcontract a job to calibrate requirements following an internal or external recalibration?

thank you for your help

How did the outside operation have 9.5 hours reported against it? The intent of switching the Setup Time to Run Time was to keep the remaining machine time as 10 when the WIP was sent to the Supplier.
