Is there any option to send one inventory part for an external supplier for processing and receive two different inventory parts in return each in different quantities?
Ex- If we send 1000lb of ABC inventory part to supplier X and (supplier is doing the operation) receive 700lb of Inventory part 123 and 300lb of Inventory part 456.
would this be feasible?

You can try Purchase Order component functionality for tracking Inventory Parts that is being sent and received, there i think you can receive part of it as main part and the rest as an Alternative if you have defined Inventory Part 456 as an purchase alternative for Part 123. IN shop Order Outside Operation process we just working with the financial aspect through non inventory Purchase part, so there is no tracking for what's going out and coming in.
