No as-built structure from Production Schedule Receipt

Why is there no as-built structure after a Production Schedule Receipt? It is clearly stated in the documentation, but why? The assistant includes steps to edit the structure and move serials and batches between parents. What for, if not for the as-built structure?

I agree with you Kenneth. I don't think there's any other reason to why an as-built is not created other than it was never prioritized/ implemented. Production schedules seems not as used for products with high traceability requirements.

Please add an idea request for this that describes the use case where production schedules would be preferred for high traceability products.

OK, thanks for the clarification. We will have a discussion internally - since we already have a solution in place with shop orders, I guess the issue will be of lower priority also here. But I’ll make sure to give some more info in an idea request.
