Question customer raised

When entering or updating Resources in a Project Activity, it will often show a message such as:
”The resource xxx has no capacity calculated for the activity period.”
Clicking ‘Yes’ will add the record as expected, so not stopping functionality.

 

Why this message appears?

 

 

When a resource is created, it is required to do a Capacity planning using the "Calculate Resource Capacity" job (this can be found in "Resource Details" window). The results of the calculation can be found in Resource Management\Analysis\Resource Analysis.

When this was not performance, the application throws the above information message and allow user to register the resource requirement.
