In a material requisition, the calendar used for the due date is the distribution calendar indicated in the site settings.
We don’t understand the logic of using the distribution calendar. We should use the manufacturing one or at least, be able to select the calendar you want to use
Are we the only one to think that ? Do you think that could be an improvement in the future ?

The Material requisitions are often used to fulfil internal demands by issuing material from inventory or by creating purchase orders by a specific date. If the date is not a working date in the calendar then the user tries to save it, the system informs the user that .. is not a working day in the calendar . which is correct.
According to the core application, the system allows the user to enter the material requisition header and line while having supply code as Purchase Order, then the system fails to create any purchase requisitions due to unavailability of valid wanted Receipt date when the MR is saved.
Thus, it will create a flow stopper. But the user does not face such difficulties with the current functionality with the Distribution calendar.
Better to create an idea for consider the issue for future releases due to requirement is also valid.
