Hi, 

Have you encountered the following situation ?

After scheduling with APB, the shop order start date is update accordingly. However, after 1 day, the date goes back to the initial shop order start date, without being rescheduled. 

What might be the issue behind it?

Hi BeaIoanaC,

Please check if there is any scheduled task to reschedule the Shop Orders by Site. Such task can reset all times set by APB to default values which are generated by ‘Shop order infinite Scheduler’.

And also if any user make any modification to specific Shop Order parameters like Need date, EPST, Lot size or hours that also should trigger Shop Order Infinite scheduler and may reset the dates. 

You can find the Scheduler information in Scheduling Status column in Shop Order Operations table. In earlier versions of IFS applications this column is referred as CBS Scheduled. If APB scheduled this column is showed as Finite Scheduled. If not It should be Infinite Scheduled.

Is there any setting that could be done in the system so that the Shop Order Infinite scheduler would not be triggered when on of the parameters is changed?

Hi,

No, Shop Order Infinite scheduler is the inbuilt scheduling algorithm in SHPORD component. If you need to keep the scheduled order as it is you can release it soon after scheduling it with APB. Then when scheduling with APB you can exclude released orders. It is always good to follow these scheduling ethics when working with any scheduling solution (i.e. Even in MSO) so you will not end-up in such confusing situation.
