One of the user has mistakenly deleted the Cost bucket 110 in an important environment. When I am trying to add manually I am getting an error ‘’Ids in the range of 0-999 for cost elements and Cost Buckets are reserved for future use’’.
Cost Bucket 110 is system defined one. Why does the system allows to delete the record and not allow to add back in the system?
Is there any way to add the Cost bucket 110 in the system?

Hi @HoiNiresT,
I have handled a similar type of case. IFS Application doesn’t let users to add custom cost buckets that are in the range of 0-999, this validation was introduced by IFS R&D in the middle of APP7.5 (as far as I know) to keep ids between 0 to 999 for future system generated buckets.
I tried the same scenario in our latest updated APP10 core environments.
Even though 110 is a system generated cost bucket, it seems we cannot add it again to the system. Therefore, I think it is better to create a case for this, so a consultant can liaise with IFS R&D and provide a solution or a data repair.
But you can follow the below workaround until you receive an answer via the case,
Workaround: Create a new Cost Bucket with a prefix or suffix (Example: 110-1, 110A...). If you are planning to make any transaction between this site and other sites, then cross reference this cost bucket with 110 cost buckets of the other sites. (Use “Cost Bucket Cross Reference” window for this.)
