@Shehan Almeida could you please help ?
Hi! Could you also add a screenshot of the Absence type page?
I mean this one:
The relevant checkbox is marked with red. You should check this one.
What you basically are trying to da is not an absence request but an absence registration.
Yes, I’m trying to register absence on the time card directly, I’ve done the setup for absence type and marked registration as yes. Please see below.
Also, I’ve done same setup for child sickness wage code, for that I’m able to register the absence but results are not getting generated on time card. please advise on this as well.
Hi,
As far as I can see the absence is registered OK in the TIme Card. The problem seems to be that there is no result calculated - OK?
If you check the Day info you can see that the status of the day is “Not Completed”. This means there is something wrong in the day type of the day rather than in the absence configuration.
What does the day type look like?
What are the settings of this employee in “Employee Schedules and RUles”?
Regards,
Maria
Employee schedules and rules is as below,
Day type look like this,
Cycle schedule look like this,
@Frank Weber@ADDMARIAE Could you please advise ? Is there any setup missing on day type or schedule setup that is restricting result generation for absence reporting on time card ?
@pradnyampawar
Your daytype looks strange to me.
From what I know a daytype usually starts with wagw type overtime at 00:00 current (or previous if we are talking about night shift).
Then we have the normal time (which seems to start at 05:00). When work ends we usually have overtime again.
My daytypes usually look like this if I am using flex break rule:
or something like this if I have tu use fixed breaks:
In fact I do not understand what you try to accomplish with the extra time in your daytype. Could you explain this?
And as @ADDMARIAE said: AS long as the day is in status “not completed” you will not get any results.
The company follows a 24-hour schedule wherein a person can work any time during the full day. They follow a 7.5-hour schedule, where 5am-6pm it is booked under Morning Wage code, 6pm-10pm under Evening wage code and from 10pm-5am under night wage code. Anything booked above 7.5 hours is considered as flex hours. For ex.
Person working 5am-12.30pm ---- Time card will show 7.5 hours booked against Morning wage code
Person working 5am-18pm ---- Time card will show 7.5 hours booked against Morning wage code and 5.5 hours considered as flex.
Person working 10am-19pm ---- Time card will show 6.5 hours booked against Morning wage code, 1 hour booked on Evening wage code and 1.5 hours as flex.
Hi @pradnyampawar !
Okay. That’s a wild one :-)
Just one question out of curiosity: If you register normal working time. Do you get the expected results? And does the status change?
Yes, that works fine, and I do get correct results too as we’ve done some setup in balance definitions as well.
Is there any setup that seems missing because of which I’m not getting results for absences?
Hi @pradnyampawar !
Just another question: What happens if you register the absence in Absence-Page? Do you get a result then?

Can you please provide a screen shot of the day type details for the day
